A passionate teacher.

Katie is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor with a focus in Yoga Sculpt, Hot Power Fusion, and Power Vinyasa. She is committed to connecting her students with their minds and bodies through movement, music, and community. 

Growing up, Katie found it difficult to find inspiration or joy through physical fitness. After dealing with years of back pain and sciatica, she decided it was time to find a way to relieve her pain. She soon fell in love with spin classes and HIIT workouts, but yoga turned out to be the most transformative overall. Katie’s passion for yoga deepened when she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at CorePower Yoga. She currently teaches at Y7 Studio in West Hollywood + Silverlake and leads special classes and workshops, including a 90-minute “Intro to Yoga” Workshop co-led by Janelle Moore. She has taught in Bali, The AllBright, and The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

While she is still navigating her own injuries, Katie is passionate about helping others find their bliss through physical activities that work for them, wherever their bodies are at. Her classes are fun, upbeat, and welcoming for all levels of students! She encourages smiling, laughing, and building community through interactions in class.

Katie is a fantastic yoga teacher! She really focuses on making the class fun and making sure even new yogis feel comfortable. So if you’re new to yoga or haven’t been doing it long, Katie can definitely help you grow your skills since she really focuses on proper form and that each pose feels good for your body. But this doesn’t mean her classes can’t be challenging! They’re perfect if you’re looking for a fun class and a good sweat!
